Benjamin Rose Institute on Aging works to advocate for older adults and caregivers with special focus on issues related to financial stability, caregiving, housing, behavioral health and racial equity.
Financial Stability:
We have free resources and services available through our subsidiary Empowering and Strengthening Ohio's People (ESOP) to help you achieve and maintain financial wellness. ESOP's staff advocates on your behalf to help you understand and secure benefits you are eligible for, and assists with communication with credit services and loan companies to assure your records are accurate and you are receiving a fair and manageable repayment plan.
Caregiving:
We are guided by our vision in which caregivers are provided with supports to sustain their well-being and fulfill their caregiving role. Serving and supporting family and friend caregivers is at the forefront of our mission. We advocate for caregivers by developing and offering evidence-based programs and home- and community-based services that cater to the individualized experiences they face, and by helping them to develop sustainable solutions with their wellbeing in mind.
